  • Advanced Radiation Oncology Fellowship

    Full-Time Term Position, July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027
    A one-year clinical fellowship position is being offered at The University of Manitoba in the Department of Radiation Oncology at CancerCare Manitoba (CCMB), commencing July 2026.

    This Fellowship focuses on advanced clinical training in precision radiation therapy in Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT). Our center offers SBRT for selected lung, spine, liver, and genitourinary malignancies, including prostate cancer and adrenal metastatic cases, and also Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) and Stereotactic Radiotherapy (SRT) in brain metastases and CNS benign and malignant tumors.

  • Radiation Oncology Fellowship at the Cross Cancer Institute

    2026-2027 Clinical/Research Radiation Oncology Fellowship
    Applications are invited from junior faculty or trainees in their final year of specialist training in Radiation Oncology for a one-year fellowship commencing by 1 July 2026. Opportunities exist in most disease sites including head & neck, breast, lung, gynecologic, genitourinary, central nervous system, gastrointestinal, hematologic, dermatologic, sarcoma, pediatrics and palliative radiation oncology.

    The Cross Cancer Institute, affiliated with the University of Alberta, is a free-standing comprehensive cancer treatment and research facility, and the tertiary referral centre for Northern Alberta. The division of Radiation Oncology serves a population base of 1.5 million people and treats more than 4000 patients per year. We have two wide-bore CT simulators with 4D capability. We are well-equipped for the delivery of conformal, intensity-modulated, RapidArc, and stereotactic body radiotherapy, as well as low dose rate, high dose rate, surface, intraoperative and ocular brachytherapy. We offer both linac-based and Gamma Knife stereotactic radiosurgery. The department houses 8 linear accelerators and an orthovoltage machine, as well as an active MR-Linac development program. The Centre for Biological Imaging and Adaptive Radiotherapy houses a cyclotron for research PET radiopharmaceutical production and imaging, a 3-Tesla functional MR unit, and a 9.4-Tesla basic science research magnet. Well-established collaborations exist in the areas of population genomics, pharmaco-genomic and radiogenomic profiling. There is a comprehensive, integrated provincial IT network comprising electronic medical record and digital imaging systems. We have a strong record of basic, translational and clinical research, including national and international clinical trial activity and cooperative group membership.

    The Division of Radiation Oncology at McGill University is pleased to offer highly competitive fellowship opportunities designed for aspiring leaders in radiation oncology. These fellowships provide comprehensive, subspecialized clinical training and robust research experience in a world-class academic environment.

    Fellows will gain unparalleled expertise across a broad spectrum of cancer sites, including: Breast Cancer, Women's Cancers (Gynecologic and Breast Cancer Radiotherapy), Genito-Urinary Cancers, Lung Cancer, CNS (Central Nervous System) Tumors, Sarcoma, Pediatrics, SBRT (Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy), Palliative Radiotherapy

    Fellows will engage in multidisciplinary clinics, Grand Rounds, and tumor boards, fostering a collaborative approach to patient care. A significant emphasis is placed on research, with opportunities to participate in clinical trials, translational research, and quality improvement projects. Fellows are expected to present at national/international conferences and contribute to peer-reviewed publications.

    Successful applicants will have completed an accredited Radiation Oncology residency program and demonstrate a strong commitment to academic excellence and patient care. The program duration typically ranges from one to two years, tailored to individual career goals and research interests

  • Fellowship in Genitourinary Radiation Oncology

    The Ottawa Hospital, ON
    Deadline: September 30, 2025

    This is a year-long fellowship, at the end of which the fellow will have developed subspecialty expertise in the radiotherapeutic management of genitourinary malignancy, with particular emphasis on prostate cancer and evidence-based practice. The fellowship will combine clinical service with clinically oriented research; a minimum of 50% of time would be protected for research activities.

    Applications are due by September 30, 2025, for fellowships commencing July 1, 2026 but the start date is negotiable. Please include:

    3. Letter outlining interest in fellowship, learning goals and potential projects

  • Fellowship at the Ottawa Hospital

    The one-year Fellowship at the Ottawa Hospital Cancer provides two streams available for a successful candidate: 1.) Head and Neck Fellowship and 2)MR-Linac and Gastrointestinal Fellowship. Clinical and research activities within these domains can be accommodated based on the successful candidate’s interest.

    The Ottawa Hospital Cancer Program, affiliated with the University of Ottawa, is one of the largest cancer programs in Canada, spread over two physical sites. We have had an active fellowship program for more than a decade with 1 to 3 fellows annually. Our radiation treatment facilities include three CT simulators with 4D capability, MR Simulator, high dose rate and low dose rate brachytherapy, ten matched Elekta linear accelerators with FFF and 6 degree of freedom couch capability, one CyberKnife unit and MR-LINAC. The Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre is the sole provider of radiation oncology services in the Ottawa area (population 1.5 million) and Nunavut with over 6000 new patient consults annually.
