Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre is seeking a dynamic Radiation Manager to join the leadership team at the Odette Cancer Centre—home to one of Canada’s largest and most advanced radiation oncology programs. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of cancer care through strategic leadership, operational excellence, and a commitment to person-centered innovation.
The Radiation Manager will lead a large multidisciplinary team, overseeing daily operations, advancing clinical excellence, and driving quality and safety initiatives across radiation therapy services. The role is pivotal in implementing innovative technologies such as MR-guided radiotherapy, AI-enhanced treatment planning, and real-time adaptive protocols. Collaboration is key, with the manager working closely with interprofessional teams, academic leaders, and researchers to integrate cutting-edge practices and support education and clinical research.
A strong focus on team development and inclusive culture is essential—supporting mentorship, staff engagement, and succession planning in partnership with Talent Management.
Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree in radiation therapy (Master’s degree in health administration or related field required), be registered with CMRITO, and have at least five years of progressive leadership experience. The successful candidate will be an inspiring leader with a proven ability to manage complex systems, lead change, and deliver outstanding patient care.
