Elekta

In 2007 Elekta funded the first CARO-Elekta Fellowship.  This financial support provided funding of $50,000 to allow Canadian Radiation Oncology Residents who have completed their Radiation Oncology training in Canada to undertake additional clinical and/or translational research training in Canada or abroad. The research supported by this program is endorsed by both CARO and Elekta as relevant to the current or future practice of Radiation Oncology.

In 2008, Elekta increased the fellowship to $75,000 and we continue to receive great interest from members for this exceptional opportunity.

Elekta has been a valued contributor to the success of CARO's annual scientific meetings since 2000.  In 2002, Elekta became a metal sponsor, continues to provide unrestricted educational grants at that level and is a proud CARO Corporate Member.
