Membership Categories

REGULAR
Radiation Oncologists practising in Canada who pay full membership fees and have full voting privileges. A Radiation Oncologist is a physician who is certified in radiation oncology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, or by the Corporation Professionnelle des Medecins du Quebec, or who holds such other specialist qualification in radiation oncology which entitles him to be registered as a specialist in one or more provinces or territories of Canada, or who holds such other qualification recognized by the Board of Directors of the Association as being equivalent rank.

RESIDENTS
Residents in Canadian Radiation Oncology Training programs who pay a reduced membership fee and have full voting privileges.

FELLOWS
Fellows in Radiation Oncology working in Canada who pay a reduced membership fee and have full voting privileges.

ASSOCIATES
Radiation Oncologists practising outside Canada who may or may not be Canadian graduates or Canadian trainees who wish to be associate members, who pay a reduced fee and have no voting privileges. Physicists/Radiobiologists and others who pay a reduced fee and have no voting privileges.

RETIRED
Retired Radiation Oncologists who pay no fees and have no voting privileges.

HONORARY
Radiation Oncologists or others so named by the Directors who pay no fees and have full voting privileges.

CORPORATE
Corporate members from oncology industries who pay a special corporate fee and have no voting privileges.
